Simona Malvezzi, Wilfried Kuehn and Johannes Kuehn founded KUEHN MALVEZZI in Berlin in 2001. Public spaces and exhibitions are the main focus of their work. The office has designed the reorganization of a number of contemporary and historic art collections, also dealing with sensitive preservation issues. In 2010 KUEHN MALVEZZI won the international competition for the Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt and in 2012 for the interreligious House for Prayer and Learning at Petriplatz Berlin. Their competition entry for the Humboldt-Forum in Berlin attracted a lot of attention due to its critical approach to the reconstruction of the building. Their projects are shown in international exhibitions, amongst others in the 10th and the 13th Architecture Biennial in Venice and at Manifesta 7 in Trento.
